A new me.. Day 1

Day 1

Weight 184 .... YIKES
BMI 32 ... UGG

November 1st 2018, Starting the 8 day Challenge

My day started off with a cup of coffee, and if you want to still live till afternoon then coffee is one thing I won't give up. I took my weight this morning reluctantly and saw the scale ( Man do I hate the scale, it's not my friend at all) I stepped on it twice hoping the number would change from the last 30 seconds I stepped on it before. Nope it was still the same 184 pounds. Keith began measuring me around parts that I ignore and pretend I'm fit, then came the camera showing all the places I hide under clothes ( there is no more pretending it is now on camera). Funny how we try to hide from those areas that are there in front of us, but we choose to ignore, and boy have I done a good job ignoring those areas.

So today I am beginning to take my life back in a different avenue then just my anxiety and hair pulling, I'm taking back my self image that is the temple of Christ my body. I am going to blog my journey through this take over, and share the ups and downs within this process. So far it hasn't been that bad, the meal plan actually hasn't left me hungry and wanting something else through out the morning. I just ate this huge portion of 1 lb sliced chicken breast in a yummy fajita seasoning that I made myself.
OPPS IT'S ALL GONE!!.. It was that good. =)  I will send the picture of the chicken once Keith sends that me. =) In Keith's time. =)

I've taken my Axion, Fish Oil, Xyng, Trim Sticks, Lean, and cheat all from the Ultimate Kit from Xyngular. I am feeling great with no hunger pains, I had my Lean this morning, and 2 boiled eggs for a snack then the chicken for lunch. Tonight for dinner I already have my Chili brewing in the Crock Pot , and I'm not wanting for more so far, and I think it's awesome. Now when I get to the fish part you will have to stand by, because I'm not a big fish eater but I have to say Keith is a great fish chief, and can make fish actually taste good. So stand by on the review on the fish.

As I'm doing this 8 day challenge I'm also doing a study called " Begin with Christ; by First place 4 health. My memory verse for this week is Matthew 6:33 " Seek first his kingdom and righteousness, and all these will be given to you as well." This week is all about first giving over what is God's and that's my cravings and what he intended for me healthy wise. God is the head over all things because he created all things. Jesus is above all things and when I focus on him not me, I'm able to with stand all food temptations that may come my way ( Like the left over Halloween candy sitting in my boys room, not that I'm thinking about it right now)

So what are somethings that are hard for you to see that should be in God's control? whatever it is God owns it.. all of it, He created us to be in his image, and created us to take care of what he has given. What are we doing to abuse what God has given? Food, Sodas, Medication, T.V, games, exercise? ( yes you can have to much exercise when it controls your life, and takes over time that should be spent with the family God has given.) We as Christians can be quick to condemn others failures as we sit over weight and abusing the temple as much as the person with a cigarette and vapor in their hands. Our food addiction effects our bodies in the same way as the habits we condemn others for.  When do we stop and change our behaviors that mess with the temple and change our bad habits to shine what God intended for us in life? Well I'm starting today, and looking ahead to a healthier Katy in my mental, spiritual and physical health. I can't wait to continue to share this journey with every one.

Prayer :
Thank you Lord, for coming to earth so I could be free from my sinful desires. Thank you for freeing me from my addiction of hair pulling, and the temptation of food. Your an amazing father and I want to shine your love in all I do, and where I start is by being what you intended me to be .. HEALTHY.
AMEN!!
