In him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers. All things have been created through him and for him. He himself is before all things and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church, he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place over EVERYTHING. Colossians 1:16-18
Yesterday there was a discussion brought to my attention, one that really opened my eyes to where our young people are heading. I didn't realize how strong the pull has become, and how many kids actually have turned their backs on what has been given them. Evolution is taught in schools, but not creation why? Our kids are pounded down with the theroy's of evolution daily starting at young ages in our public schools. Our kids have come to a point of having to see to believe because of these teachings.
Evolution I believe does exisit with the hand of God at work, God created EVERYTHING and evolves everything that lives here on earth. Nothing happens without God's hand on it. Evolution isn't the bad thing, it's leaving out who created evolution in the first place. It's taking God's handy work and removing it from all areas of thought and knowledge. Its not teaching our children about the wonderful work of God's mighty hand in a thing called evoloution.
Bring God back into the equation of evolution and why it's there and we will see our children begin to understand how to have faith without having to see it. There is so much confusion in our kids now with the theroy of evolution that they are beginning to question if there is a God, instead of questioning if mans evolution is not from God.
Believing in a thing called God, makes us weird or ignorant, because we have faith that God has placed all things where they are, and created all things with his hands. We have faith in something that others believe you can't see. But look around you today, look at nature, look at the miracles God placed before you, look at the wonder of evolution and know that is the handy work of our father. =)
