Will you still love him?
Will you still love him? Will you still have the faith? Will you turn your back on God when things get to be too much?
When do we begin to see God's hand in all things in our lives? When do we take our eyes off our sorrows and turn them towards leaving them in God's hands?
There have been many times I have asked God why. Why take my son at such a young age, Why allow Grace to move in the direction she is going? Why not heal my boys?.. All those why's have been asked. The Answer? In HIS time, not mine. In his way, not mine. In his direction, not mine.
I want nothing more then to see my boys healed here on earth, But if God's timing is not until they are sitting at his feet, will I still love him? YES.. If Grace has to hit rock bottom to almost death will I still Love him? YES.. If he would allow Keith to give his life for our country,Would I still love him? Absolutly.
I don't worry about what God hasn't done, I focus on what he has done in my life. Micah and Elijah had another Birthday, Grace is still seeking guidance from me, Josiah is getting to dance with his Grandma Bean before us, and Keith is still fighting for our country. There is peace in each struggle when we put our full faith in God that he knows best not me.
When we stop looking at each situation as overwhelming and begin to look at it as another step towards a stronger faith. We can begin to enjoy life, and not worry about what God isn't doing for us, or what others have done to hurt us. We can have faith that God is in full control at all times.
Micah's favorite movie is Facing the Giants, The scene in the clip says it all. Micah will tell you that if God decides to heal him in heaven he will still praise him. Micah has come to a place where he has faith that God will take care of him when he is healthy and sick.
We can find that faith, when we leave our struggles at God's feet and stop trying to fix things on our own.
